Happy 5th Anniversary

To Us!!! Hehe. Clint and I celebrated five years of marriage this summer. We've done so much over this time that it actually does feel like it has been five years, lol. There have been lots of exciting happenings throughout our marriage so far-we are both very lucky. :) For our anniversary we had talked about going on an island get-away with the some of our friends, but amazingly (I joke) Tyler proposed to Jill late last April, and since their wedding was going to be in October we decided to postpone our group trip. Since we still wanted to do something fun for our anniversary, Clint and I went back and forth for a couple of weeks on where to go. Finally, the night before we were going to leave, we decided to check out St. Joe, MI.

Loved it!! We plan on taking Max and Leo and whoever else wants to go with us next summer. Great beach, nice town, delicious food- we really enjoyed ourselves. Plus, it is only 2 and a half hours away-can't beat that.

Here are some photos from our mini-vacay. Also, thanks again to my amazing in-laws for watching the boys for us. I know they had just as much fun as we did.

Paige's Crossing

Karan and Ken are so amazing with our boys. Max and Leo, you guys are very lucky to have such wonderful grandparents- Amma, Naps, Nana, Papa, Ma. They all do such fun things with you. This summer we did a lot of fun things with everyone. You especially liked playing at Amma and Nap's house. We swam in the pond a lot- playing "lifeguard" when Max would jump of rafts, swim a ways, and then come back to save us all. We fed the fish, the kitties, and several other animals from the farm next door. You guys also got to spend the night with them a few different times this summer. We are so thankful for each one of our parents!! Thank you for everything you do for our boys, as well as Clint and I.

On our anniversary trip, Ken and Karan kept the boys for a couple of days. When we got home we met them at a fun game place called Paige's crossing. Max and Leo had a blast! Max got to try go-carts and putt-putt for the first time. Great afternoon!

The tradition continues! This is our 3rd summer in a row going up to the lake with our very good friends, Jill, Tyler, Todd, Thad, and Angie. We always have lots of fun and I'm glad we've been able to keep it going. I love these guys :)
