Meredith's Wedding

Congratulations Meredith and Ted Apostoleris!! We had a fantastic and memorable day and night at your wedding. Meredith, you were stunning. Best wishes for many years to come!! Love you guys.

                                                           Great Friends!!

Clint and I had a fun night out! Thanks Mom and Dad for watching the boys :)

Hocking Hills

DeHan family reunion 2012! Almost every member of my family on my mom's side was able to make it for a few days of sweating, hiking, camp fires, and more sweating. It is a gorgeous area with lots of beautiful trails and rivers. My Dad ended up renting a house for our immediate family, especially since we had 4 kids 3 and under with us. My cousin Sarah and her two bambinos stayed with us as well; while the rest of the family camped out. Clint and I were only able to stay two nights, but it was plenty of time with two little ones. We enjoyed being with everyone, but it was hard trying to wrangle them up for the different activities. I got all of these pictures from my sister-I wanted to copy them because I didn't take very many. Thanks Em, for saving these memories for me!

So cute!! J.J. was almost 3 months old in this picture.

Max and his "little donut" Taylor.

Getting ready to do one of the...stupidest..lol things we've done in a while. The hike to Old Man's cave was really neat. However, carrying the stroller down tons of narrow stairways and paths was a challenge. Poor Clint, Dad, Evan, and Uncle Bill! I had to carry it a couple of times too. Plus, Max almost fell off one of the cliffs. That was one of the scariest moments of my life!

Gorgeous!

Giant caravan of people.

My lovely Sareeb and Taylor!!

Beautiful Lauren and Avery

My Uncle Bill and Sarah's little guy Brody.

Clint is in such good shape. He just carried the stroller up a long stairway and tunnel, then turned around to carry Johanna up. Way to go, Uncle Clint!

Evan and Shawna thought ahead and brought baby pools-- excellent!

Max loves Aunt Shannon!

Uncle Dave....

Max's first campout bonfire. He loved his marshmallows.

Carly and Max had a few long conversations :) So cute!

He was a typical boy and obsessed with the fire.

Another fun adventure with my family!

Family Vacation

We spent the second half of June visiting with my sister, Jeff, Johanna, J.J., and the rest of the fam. They arrived in Ohio the day the boys and I got back from Maryland, so we ended up just meeting them right at the lake. That was a loonng few days. Thankfully, Clint was able to meet us up there on Saturday, so we didn't have to wait any longer to see him. We spent Saturday visiting with everyone and taking turns kayaking across the lake, going on boat rides, and tubing. I might be getting some of the days/events wrong because we went up there a few different times while Emily and Jeff were visiting, but each time we went we had a lot of fun.

One of the highlights was celebrating my grandma's 80th birthday. I love her so much and I am very glad that we were all able to be together to enjoy her special day with her.

My sister took these photos, and I absolutely love them. Max has always been very close with Great Grandma Norma- he talks about her all of the time. We are very fortunate.

So many memories!

It was also Father's Day and my dad, Clint, and Jeff all have birthdays in June & July, so we were able to celebrate everything at once!

Happy Father's Day!!

Leo loves Johanna's baby.

Johanana really enjoyed sitting in Max and Leo's chair. Can you tell?

Haha, my sister also took these photos. My dad is wearing his Super Dad shirt we bought him about 20 years ago...
We all went tubing! My dad hasn't tubed in many, many years. He did awesome! It was fun watching him, lol. Max almost had his first experience tubing, but got a little nervous when the tube was being pulled under water. Maybe next year!
I really like these photos of Johanna on her first fast boat ride. Can you tell how excited she was? ;)

Then sleepy :)

Leo loved his baby cousin.

Johanna and Max had a wonderful time playing together. Max really likes being the older cousin and was protective of Johanna the whole trip. They took lots of walks and even got to do some sparklers at a neighbor's cottage.
My sister took these pictures and it captures the moment perfectly! They were both extremely excited. Max kept asking our neighbor for more sparklers.

Taking walks is one of our favorite things to do at the lake. We've been walking the same paths my whole life, so it was fun to see the kids doing the same thing.

Lots of fun! We even got to spend some time with my Uncle Phil (Grandma Margie's brother) Aunt Joanne, Jeremy, Erin, and their boys Carter and Preston. It was great to see them and hopefully we can all get together at the lake for many summers to come.
