33 Weeks

But...less than 6 weeks until our baby will be here!! Right now, the doctor is planning on inducing me the night of June 2nd. She wants to wait about 3 more weeks until making it definite. She said that we might even go earlier depending on how I am measuring. At the moment I am measuring right on schedule. However, I was also measuring normally with Max, and we all know what happened there. We're still having a hard time with names! Ethan, Colin, and Conner are now all out. I am starting to think that we are going to be one of those couples that takes our son home without a name, lol.

Here is a picture of Max and I showing off our baby bumps. :)

Easter Day

This year Max had his first Easter egg hunt at home and at Naps and Amma's house. He couldn't stop saying, "Fun, fun!" all day. He was so cute. We loved watching him race around the house to find his eggs. I kind of want to hide them again just to watch his reaction.

On Saturday night we tried to dye eggs. I COMPLETELY forgot how to do it!! I think it has been almost 20 years since I have done this. First, Max tried to eat the dye tablet. Luckily, my friend Todd and I caught him before he swallowed it, lol. Secondly, I couldn't remember what to put the eggs in. I got out Tupperware containers & they were definitely too shallow. Todd and Clint reminded me that most people use coffee cups. Then, I didn't get spoons out and was using the wire holder thing- except I forgot to bend it. After a few minutes, Todd couldn't take it anymore and bent it for me. I think I was way too tired.....yeah.....

Todd, Ope!! (He says ope instead of open) Max had to have Uncle Todd open all of his eggs.

Later that afternoon we went to Ken and Karan's house for another egg hunt and dinner. Karan made pot roast, potatoes, and carrots- one of my favorites!  It was a wonderful afternoon and I'm glad we were able to be together.

High-five!!

Max picked a hundred dandelions throughout the day. Most of them ended up in the pond.

Bubble Time

I love you Daddy!!

Visiting with the Carreros

On Saturday my friend Tricia, her husband Gianni, and their little boy Marco came to spend the day with us. It was great to see them! Marco will be one in July and was so adorable. He is already crawling all over the place and loves to eat :)  We went out to lunch at a place called the Noodle Bowl and then went to the park. Afterwards, we grilled out and enjoyed the rest of the evening.

MVP's

MaxMan LOVES sports. He likes to throw, catch, kick- not always letting you know when it will happen. He thinks it is pretty funny when he throws a ball at you and then, once it has hit you, says, "Catch!" really loudly.

Daddy, Gramps (Napps) and Max were throwing the football around last week in the backyard. I tried to get some pictures of the action. It started to get dark, so some of them didn't turn out the greatest. I'm hoping to take a photography class with my mother-in-law this summer, so maybe I will learn a few things about nighttime photos.

He looks so happy here.

Takaoka

We went to Takaoka last Tuesday night with Ken and Karan. It is one of Clint and my favorite places to eat- great steak and shrimp! Ken and Max had never been there, so it was a lot of fun watching their reactions to the chef.

Easter Egg Hunt!

Today was gorgeous- 83 degrees and sunny. It was perfect for Max's first Easter Egg hunt at the FOP lodge. We went right before Daddy had to go to work. Max was so excited to find his eggs!

He opened his first egg up right away and started getting into the candy....He is way too much like me!

The lodge has beautiful property, and it was a great spot to hunt for eggs. Each child was able to find 10 eggs at first and then they got to go out again and find at least 5 more. Max found a special egg with the number three in it, so he got to pick out an extra surprise- a stuffed beagle puppy.

Max loved petting the bunny!!

He thought the Easter bunny was really cool. He wasn't brave enough to sit on his lap, but he couldn't stop looking at him.

Happy early Easter!!!
