Johnny Appleseed Festival
Two weeks ago, Kelli and Drake came up for the weekend to visit. We spent Saturday letting the boys play and visiting family; then on Sunday, we decided to go to Fort Wayne's Johnny Appleseed Festival. This is a really big tradition in Fort Wayne. Surprisingly, this was my first time going. It was really neat! Lots of food, people, and games for the kids. We enjoyed walking around and taking in our surroundings. The boys wanted to play every game they had. It was fun watching them get so excited. The food was tasty- cowboy steaks and tater delights, lol. Ken, Kelli, the boys and I had a great time! Ken reminded us all that the Hills are related to Johnny Appleseed...I can't remember how, but I'll ask him again next year, hehe.

Oh man that looks like the coolest festival EVER! It is right up my alley of things I like to do... wow so Clint has johnny appleseed ancestry and we have Pocahontas ancestry you two were meant to be.
ReplyDeleteSo much fun! The boys look like they are having the time of their life! something they could prob. do everyday and never get tired of it.. hmm maybe a new type of school. Emily i like your comment - even though the Pocahontas tale is a little skecthy..
ReplyDeletep.s. i see Leo trying to escape the stroller in one of the pics :)
this time of year is my favorite and i just wish it could last as long as summer does :(
