Clint completely surprised us all when he said that he was going to voluntarily play in the FWPD vs. FWFD annual soccer game. It wasn't because Clint is nonathletic or anything; it is due to the fact that Clint has always hated soccer, views it as a communist sport, and pretty much ridicules anyone who plays it-including one of his best friends. He didn't even want Max to wear a soccer type outfit from my friend Michelle when he was born! But, people change, and for some reason Clint decided that this was his year to try something new. He put on some shin guards, bought some cleats and ran joyously onto the field. ;) Maybe not joyously, but he did have a good time. The boys, Karan, and Ken were able to watch his debut. Even though his team didn't win, Clint played very well! It was a lot of fun watching him run after the ball, make several steals, and some great passes. If he keeps practicing, maybe the FWPD will win next year.
now that Clint has played some soccer, I'm sure he's hooked. he's probably added a couple sports channels to your cable package to get live soccer coverage.
