The trains are battery operated. Max really liked watching them go around and "crash". |

3 Months Old!
I can't believe that my little baby is already 3 months old. I know every parent says this, but it doesn't feel like that much time has passed. Leo is an amazing little boy. He is so mellow and happy. He rarely ever cries anymore and is on a pretty regular schedule. Every time I set him on the floor he rolls over from his back to his stomach. It is definitely his new found trick. He smiles all the time and loves to laugh at silly noises we make. He also really likes to have his cheeks tickled. That definitely makes him smile! Here are a few pictures of my little Leo.
I love rolling over! |

A Day at the Beach
Today the boys and I were able to enjoy a beautiful afternoon at a beach in Warsaw, IN. After meeting at my friend Missy's house, the whole gang had lunch at this delicious hot dog place. It was a little side of the rode stand set up with lots of different types of hot dogs, fries, and frosty mugs of root beer (my beverage choice). It was soo good & cheap! We ate lunch and then drove about 15 minutes to a really nice park and public beach.
The park is in the center of Warsaw and is full of gorgeous flowers. During the summer they have Friday night music events in the outdoor amphitheater. We will have to go and check it out next summer! We got the kids out of the car and let them play on the numerous outdoor activities and playground equipment. Then we decided to get suits on and go swimming. Max and Cassie had a great time playing in the sand and water. We will definitely make more trips out there next year! Even Louis and Leo enjoyed themselves. :) After an afternoon outdoors we treated the kids to some ice cream and headed home.
Another lovely summer day. I am so glad that I am able to have this time with my kids. I love you Clint and thank you for working so hard so that I can be with the boys right now!!! We wish you could have been with us.

Water Balloon Fight!
Last weekend the boys and I went up to the lake with my family. We had fun taking boat rides and spending time with one another.
Max has been wanting to play with water balloons ever since the beginning of the summer when our neighbors made a ton for all the little neighborhood kids to play with. He has made them a few times with me or Nana, but this past weekend he had a lot of fun making them (and throwing them) with his Uncle Zach! Zach was awesome filling them up over and over again. For awhile Zach would fill the balloon up and Max would instantly pop it, haha. Finally, we persuaded Max to save a bunch of them to have a water balloon fight. He really just enjoyed throwing them on the ground.
My brothers also went tubing on Friday night. I can't wait to try it in a couple weeks. Dad bought a new tube and they both said they really liked it. Here are a few shots of them riding the wake.
Mom had a nice time holding Leo and playing with Max. I'm glad we all got to go up together for a couple of days.

LOL Dave's model pose. He said he has a new cologne coming out called, Breeze. |
Zach held on to the tube pretty well, but Dad eventually knocked him off like he does to all of us. |
David had a lot of fun trying to flip circles on the tube. He showed off for a long ride, but still ended up in the lake. |

Fun at the Skinner Compound
Last week we took a drive out to a tiny town in between Columbia City and Warsaw, Indiana. Our very good friends, Jeremy and Missy Skinner bought about 20 acres or so in the country, and this was our first trip to see their new place. Wow, what a neat piece of property! They could be self sustainable for several months with the amount of food growing on their land. Their garden has every kind of vegetable you can think of and they also have cherry, peach, apple, and pear trees. It was awesome!
After a delicious dinner we were able to spend time with their kids, Cassie and Louis. They have gotten so big! Their property has walking trails throughout it, so Missy and I decided to take a walk. It was extremely peaceful and serene. Their two golden labs absolutely love having all of that space to explore and roam- it made me happy to see how excited and full of life they seemed. After our walk, Clint and I took a spin on their 4 wheeler. Everyone heard me screaming the whole time we were riding, lol. It was fun!! Kind of scary going down the hills and sharp turns. While we were gone the kids had fun getting excessively dirty playing in the sand box. Missy gave all three of them a bath before we left for home.
I see some fun camp-outs in the future!
