The Great Zoo Halloween

Clint and I took the boys to the Great Zoo Halloween on Sunday. The Zoo is transformed into a fall playland with a corn maze, candy stations, pumpkins, and of course tons of costumes. Most of the animals are indoors for the winter, but it was neat walking around the zoo and seeing all of the decorations. Max had a great time going from the Monkey Treat Trail to the Safari and Outback Treat Trails. They were both adorable in their costumes. Max was Jake from the Disney cartoon, Jake and the Neverland Pirates (improvised Jack Sparrow costume...) and Leo was a cuddly little Lion.

The Spooky Monkey Trail 

This picture is funny because we were trying hard to get one of Max and I. Clint thought this one was awesome, but after seeing it on the computer it makes me laugh because both Max and I are smiling like, "Another picutre." haha

Max and Clint went through the big corn maze together, and then we let Max try the smaller one on his own. He walked down and back and then got nervous. He wanted me to just lift him over the hay stack to freedom, lol. 

I thought these scarecrows were kind of cool.

Max loved performing on the stage. He kept jumping on and off and dancing for his audience. 

I thought this was a cute idea! Might be fun to do someday. 

Amazing carvings. Clint and I might try something this intricate next year...
